The Supporters Club has been established for 54 years forming a vital link with the Beaufort Hunt and surrounding countryside as well as raising funds for local charities and organisations.
We hope our website will keep you informed of recent news and up and coming events as well as give you the opportunity to purchase our merchandise online.
On the 4th March the Duke of Beaufort’s Hunt donated funds raised from their annual Christmas Fair to both the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Youth Action Wiltshire. Cheques for £5000 each were presented to Ginnie Keen from Youth Action Wiltshire and Hollie Perryman representing Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
To date, the Beaufort Hunt has raised over £20,000 for the Wilshire Air Ambulance.
Hollie Perryman Community Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator said "We need to raise £4 million a year to keep the air ambulance flying and saving lives. We receive no regular direct Government funding or National Lottery grants, so rely solely on generous donations from the public. Events such as the Beaufort Christmas Fair help to generate vital funds for our lifesaving work and we are very grateful for their continuing support, with the most recent donation of £5,000 from the 2021 event.”
Youth Action Wiltshire is the national award winning ‘Youth Arm’ of Community First supporting local communities in the Swindon and Wiltshire areas.
Ginnie Keen, a Trustee of Youth Action Wiltshire, said “Thank you so much to the generous supporters of the Beaufort Hunt Christmas Fair. This donation is much appreciated and will be put towards assisting with our local initiatives”
Julie Curtis from the Duke of Beaufort’s Hunt and organiser of the Christmas Fair said: “The Beaufort Hunt Christmas Fair is an important annual event in our calendar; not only does it provide a platform for local businesses on the run up to the festive period but it raises valuable funds for specific local charities, something we are immensely proud to achieve”.
The Beaufort Hunt Supporters Club is an integral part of the Beaufort Hunt but we encourage anyone who is passionate about country life to join.
We want all our members to feel they are supporting the Beaufort Hunt whilst enjoying a good social calendar raising funds for crucial charities both locally and nationally. All our organisers are volunteers and do a sterling job co-ordinating the events calendar.
Events range from a Winters Skittles Challenge to a sponsored ride, around the beautiful Badminton Park, to a Christmas Gift Fair. We also sell a variety or merchandise which includes jackets, hats, whiskey tumblers to name just a few items.
Our annual membership is £15.00 and Life membership is £75.00.
