2022 Christmas Fair Donation

On the 4th March the Duke of Beaufort’s Hunt donated funds raised from their annual Christmas Fair to both the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Youth Action Wiltshire.  Cheques for £5000 each were presented to Ginnie Keen from Youth Action Wiltshire and Hollie Perryman representing Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

To date, the Beaufort Hunt has raised over £20,000 for the Wilshire Air Ambulance.

Hollie Perryman Community Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator said "We need to raise £4 million a year to keep the air ambulance flying and saving lives. We receive no regular direct Government funding or National Lottery grants, so rely solely on generous donations from the public. Events such as the Beaufort Christmas Fair help to generate vital funds for our lifesaving work and we are very grateful for their continuing support, with the most recent donation of £5,000 from the 2021 event.”

Youth Action Wiltshire is the national award winning ‘Youth Arm’ of Community First supporting local communities in the Swindon and Wiltshire areas.

Ginnie Keen, a Trustee of Youth Action Wiltshire, said “Thank you so much to the generous supporters of the Beaufort Hunt Christmas Fair.  This donation is much appreciated and will be put towards assisting with our local initiatives”

Julie Curtis from the Duke of Beaufort’s Hunt and organiser of the Christmas Fair said: “The Beaufort Hunt Christmas Fair is an important annual event in our calendar; not only does it provide a platform for local businesses on the run up to the festive period but it raises valuable funds for specific local charities, something we are immensely proud to achieve”.

Cheque Presentations on Friday 4th March 2022 at Sopworth.
