Badminton House Open Gardens

Sunday, September 4, 2022

Badminton House Open Gardens are reopening this year for three special events to mark the beginning of Spring through to Summer. The usually private gardens within the grounds of Badminton House, home to the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort will open exclusively for the following three dates.

Late Summer Open Day – Sunday 4th September

Gates open from 10am with last entry at 4pm.

There is a great variety of plants to view, from the formal beds on the east side of the house, designed by Russell Page, to the South Garden with its water squares, hedges, beds and borders.  Glorious displays of roses and borders of soft summer colours are combined with herbaceous perennials, campanulas, penstemons, geraniums and phlox. The Walled Garden, a short stroll from the house through the park, is home to the Badminton House kitchen garden, providing fruit and vegetables as well as cut flowers for much of the year. An archway, running the full width of the garden, is covered with roses, clematis, wisteria and yellow laburnum. The greenhouse is used for propagation and houses a fine display of pelargoniums.

The courtyard will house a variety of stalls including food, drink, plants and flowers all from local sellers.

Tickets can be booked using the following link Badminton House Open Gardens - 2022 - Badminton Estate

Prices are £7.50 pre-sale or £10 on the day but all three dates can be purchased in advance at the discounted rate of £20. Children under 12 go free.

We look forward to seeing you at Badminton House soon.
